Delete Old Log Files

Automated cron task to delete logs older than 30 days.

This standard maintenance task uses the `find` utility to locate files ending in `.log` within your application directory that were modified more than 30 days ago (`-mtime +30`) and deletes them. This prevents server disk saturation.

Cron Schedule

Every Day at Midnight0 0 * * *

Runs once per day at 00:00 (midnight).

Copy and paste this command into your crontab or automation script

find /var/log/myapp -name "*.log" -mtime +30 -delete

This command will run according to the cron schedule above.
